The 6+1 'Big Picture' Actions in Business

Ofmos theory reveals 6+1 'big picture' actions available to a CEO or leadership team. Metaphorically, if the company is a cloud and its ofmos are the cloud's constituent water droplets, the CEO's job is to manage the set of droplets, with keeping the cloud alive as a likely key goal. Which water droplets? Which business worlds holistically identify the company? The simulation OFMOS offers an even more simplified view of the available actions.

"Big Picture" of the Month

Excerpted from Cristian Mitreanu's Stanford Continuing Studies course "Corporate Strategy at Scale," this slide offers a fun way of thinking about the multiscale idea. With the Ofmos worldview, we move further up the scale, looking at the signatures of the business worlds and the new phenomena there.
